Actinic Keratoses

Actinic Keratoses are scaly, rough patches on the skin that develop from extensive exposure to the sun. These are commonly called “pre-skin cancers.”

Angiomata- Red Spots

Are small blood vessels that make up small, benign tumors near the skin’s surface.

Dark Circles

Dark circles are caused by an increase in pigmentation of the skin around the eyes or capillaries close to the surface begin to show through as a result of hereditary factors, stress, allergies, dehydration, etc. Circles can be treated by topical creams, fillers and IPL treatment.

Dermatitis – Rashes

Dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin that covers many skin conditions from poison ivy and poison oak to Eczema.

Eczema

Eczema is sometimes called dermatitis. It is actually a group of skin conditions that can affect you at any age. It is not contagious but can be uncomfortable because it makes the skin hot and itchy.

Lentigenes - Freckles

Freckles are small, flat, pigmented spots on the skin. They vary in color from red to tan to brown. Freckles aren't present at birth. Instead, they develop in time as a result of sun exposure.

Keratosis Pilaris

Keratosis Pilaris is a skin condition that causes rough patches of bumps that may feel sandpaper-like. It is more frustrating than serious.

Melasma

Melasma is a benign condition whereby the skin becomes blotchy and mottled with darker areas of pigmentation. Melasma is common in all ethnicities, and can be quite embarrassing, disfiguring and socially debilitating.

Milia

Milia are benign, tiny cystst that appear as a result of dead skin being trapped in small pockets at the skin’s surface.

Moles

Moles are growths on the skin. They happen when cells in the skin, called melanocytes, grow in a cluster with tissue surrounding them. Moles are very common.

Rhinophyma

Rhinophyma is a term used to describe a thickening deformity of the nose. In severe cases, plastic surgery may be necessary.

Rosacea

A chronic skin and eye condition, rosacea’s symptoms include redness and pimples in the early stages and thickened skin and sometimes an enlarged nose in the advanced stages.

Scars

Fibrous tissue that replaces your skin as an injury heals.

Sebaceous Hyperplasia

A skin disorder involving the enlargement of the sebaceous glands around the nose, cheeks, forehead, etc.

Seborrheic Keratosis

Seborrhoeic or seborrheic keratoses are very common, harmless, brown skin lesions that can appear later in life.

Skin Tags

Skin tags are tiny pieces of skin that is flesh colored to dark brown, and are commonly located on the neck, arm pit and groin areas.

Spider Veins

When you see red or blue marks resembling spider webs or tree branches on a body part (commonly the legs and face), these are typically spider veins. Spider veins are similar to varicose veins, but smaller and closer to the surface of the skin, while varicose veins are larger and deeper.

Sun Damage

While many people think of a bronzed complexion as “healthier” than a lighter complexion, there is actually no one single factor more responsible for cosmetic and medical skin conditions than sun exposure.

Syringoma

A tumor of the sweat glands that is non-cancerous and generally appears around the eyes.

Warts

Skin infections usually caused by viruses that result in small, rough, raised patches of skin.

Xanthelasma

A yellow collection of cholesterol that becomes visible under the skin.
